What is GO Month, you ask?
*Get Organized Month* (GO Month) is an annual month-long event held every January for the logic that following the weeks of holidays, most people like to start off a new year fresh with cleaning, decluttering and beginning new habits for health, time, finances and emotional well-being. This is an official NAPO event in which NAPO members are allowed to promote independently or as teams. Each year, Garrison Concierge celebrates GO Month officially with a contest, a special lecture or class or community service event. Stay tuned for more information about GO Month to come soon so that you can learn how you could participate in GO Month!

Collect, Cling & Covet – The Emotions of Clutter
This program focuses on emotional attachments for material objects and offers exercises and discussion into the psychological reasoning as to why we collect, cling to and covet material items and touches on when these habits can become unhealthy. Co-presented by Madeleine DeNitto, professional organizer from Garrison Concierge and Garrison clinical psychologist, Susan Carroll Berck from Berck Counseling Center. Together, Madeleine and Susan will guide attendees to better understand why it is that we all have tendencies to accumulate and how it can be challenging to let go of what was accumulated.
